Activate customers
Customer activation is one of the most important parts of the launch. At minimum, eligible customers should receive a message making clear that they're eligible where relevant, that a new financing option is available, what it is, what the benefits are, and how to access it. Beyond the minimum, use as many of the channels below as fit the activation commitment agreed with Froda.
The absolute minimum: an email explaining that the product is now available, or informing customers the way they usually receive information from you.
Push / in-app notifications
Surface the new product to customers already inside your app or platform.
Chat
In-app or website chat for answering questions about the new product in the moment.
Send-outs (letters)
Physical mail for customers less reachable digitally, or where a letter carries more weight: see the note on direct mail below.
In-app / platform
Notifications, banners, and placement inside the platform itself, not just outbound messages.
Direct mail, if budget allows
Physical send-outs can be very effective. It may sound old-school, but for business audiences this can work well, especially the less salesy it is. Framing it as introducing a new feature or wanting to help the customer grow, rather than a sales pitch, tends to land better. Particularly powerful when communicating that a specific customer is eligible for financing or now has access to a new feature.
Paid search, if budget allows
Invest in paid search around relevant high-intent keywords: the local equivalent of "business loan," "SME financing," "business financing," or "working capital." See Search for recommended campaign structure, keywords, messaging, and landing pages.
Social media
At minimum, an organic launch post on the partner's own channels. Depending on ambition, layer on additional organic posts, paid social campaigns, customer-education content, video or explainers, and retargeting: see Social media.
